For almost six years, the Chiefs lived without back-to-back losses. Every stumble was followed by a rebound, every setback answered with a win. The last time it happened was December 2018. After losing to the Chargers by a point on a Thursday night collapse, they also lost to the Seahawks. Now history repeats itself. Kansas City just dropped two in a row again, and these aren’t just any two losses. First came the biggest stage of them all, the Super Bowl against the Eagles. And now, back to regular season action, the Chargers stood tall and closed the door on another one-possession game. ⚡️ Mahomes, Kelce, Reid have carried an aura of inevitability for years, but the streak is officially gone. The dynasty isn’t over, but the league just got a reminder that the Chiefs can bleed, and the AFC door is wide open.
