Furillo, Carl 1946–1960 Carl Furillo, an outfielder, played for the Dodgers in two different locales for the duration of his 15-year major league career. Despite being one of the better players in the National League, the native of Stony Creek Mills, Pennsylvania, was never truly recognized as one of the greats of his time.
