The serious things start for Nanterre. After long months to play different phases of groups, the players of Philippe Da Silva face the Greeks of the Aek Athens in the quarterfinals of the Fiba Champions League. The main basketball club competition on the old continent organized by the International Basketball Federation and considered as the C2 or C3, the 2nd or 3rd continental level after the Euroligue and its little sister of the Eurocoupe.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Double winner of a European Cup (the missing Eurochallenge in 2015 and the European Cup Fiba in 2017), the Nanterriens had not played continental competitions since 2021. This qualification for the big eight is therefore already a great satisfaction. But the mission is now complicated.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Deprived of the rear Ahmad Caver, operated and forfeited for the end of the season, Nanterre does not approach the appointment against one of the favorites for the title – winner of the event in 2018 and finalist in 2020 – in the best conditions.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
