The Paris affair on illegal platforms which earned Italian internationals Sandro Tonali and Nicolo Fagioli long suspensions, caught up on Friday, current or old players, from Serie A, including Argentines Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the Ansa and AG news agencies, twelve players, in addition to Tonali and Fagioli, are under investigation for having used these clandestine platforms between December 2021 and October 2023, for betting on sports, other than football, and especially poker games. Two names had already been cited in the fall of 2023 when this resounding affair had broken out, those of Alessandro Florenzi (AC Milan) and Nicol\u00f2 Zaniolo (Fiorentina).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After analyzes of Tonali and Fagioli phones and their hearings, are now also the subject of an investigation several players from Juventus Turin, current such as Weston McKennie and Mattia Perin, and former, like Di Maria and Paredes, as well as the Italian international of Atalanta Raoul Bellanova and that of Torino Samuele Ricci.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

They are liable to a fine of 250 euros and could also be the subject of a disciplinary procedure of the Italian football federation (FIGC). Tonali, who plays in Newcastle, and Fagioli, Juventus player at the time of the facts which now wears the Fiorentina jersey, received a suspension of ten and seven months respectively in October 2023 that they have served.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
