Mediation in the financial dispute on the TV rights of Ligue 1 between the Dazn broadcaster and the Professional Football League (LFP) will finally end on April 15. The positions are still very distant.<\/p>\n

The soap may last. During a Ligue 1 college organized on Thursday, it was decided to extend mediation between the Professional Football League (LFP) and Dazn until April 15. According to our information, the broadcaster of the majority of Ligue 1 matches (8 games out of 9 live each day) has made several extremely lower financial proposals than the contract signed in 2024, including a variable part. They are not deemed acceptable as it is by the league.<\/p>\n

The positions therefore remain very far away today. During the next few days, exchanges will continue. The league is accompanied in this mediation by the consulting firm Peak to try to find a exit agreement with Dazn.<\/p>\n

Mediation was initially to end on March 31<\/h2>\n

The British Sports Streaming Platform, which broadcasts Ligue 1 for an annual amount of around 400 million euros, claims the LFP 573 million euros “for observed failure” and “deception on goods”.<\/p>\n

For more than a month, a mediator mandated by the Paris Commercial Court has been trying to find common ground between the two parties. Its mission was supposed initially to end on March 31. It is therefore still in progress.<\/p>\n

The commercial company of the LFP, LFP Media, is still waiting for the probable arrival, as general manager, of Nicolas de Tavernost, former president of the M6 \u200b\u200bgroup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
