The UEFA disciplinary committee has decided: Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, Antonio R\u00fcdiger and Dani Ceballos are receiving sanctions after their celebrations deemed moved during the qualification of Real Madrid against Atl\u00e9tico Madrid in the knockout stages of the Champions League.<\/h2>\n

Following videos transmitted by Atl\u00e9tico Madrid, pointing to behavior deemed “indecent”, the European body made its verdict. Result: Mbapp\u00e9 and R\u00fcdiger receive a fine and a suspended suspension match, while Dani Ceballos gets away with a simple fine.<\/p>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 in the viewfinder for an obscene gesture<\/h3>\n

Filmed to grab his private parts in front of the opposing supporters after the penalty shootout (4-2, cumulative score 2-2), Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 received a fine of 30,000 euros as well as a suspended suspension match. R\u00fcdiger escapes a heavier sanction<\/h3>\n

Antonio R\u00fcdiger, author of the decisive shot, was sanctioned for mimicking a gesture of slaughter in the direction of the Colchonero public. Considered potentially threatening, this gesture earned him a fine of 40,000 euros and a suspended match, also under probationary. The German defender can however blow: he avoids a firm suspension.<\/p>\n

Ceballos sanctioned despite his absence in the field<\/h3>\n

Wounded and not aligned for the derby, Dani Ceballos did not escape the eye of the cameras. Leaving the field, he sent an arm of honor to the Atl\u00e9tico supporters. Result: a fine of 20,000 euros. A purely financial sanction.<\/p>\n

Vinicius junior, provocative … but not punished<\/h3>\n

Finally, Vinicius Junior, also in the viewfinder, goes white as snow. Despite several gestures of provocation, including references to the 15 Real Champions Leagues and the Title Title of Atl\u00e9tico in the competition, UEFA has opened no disciplinary procedure against it.<\/p>\n
