The new coach of Montpellier Zoumana Camara held his first pre-match press conference at the head of the H\u00e9rault club. He spoke of the vitriol discourse of its president Laurent Nicollin who had reproached certain people from the team for being there “that for their mouth”.<\/p>\n

For his first pre-match press conference as a Montpellier coach, Zoumana Camara wanted to be a unifying. The former defender of Paris Saint-Germain did not want to overwhelm his players, without going against his president Laurent Nicollin who had been very critical during the last day of the championship.<\/p>\n

“I can understand the president's speech. It's heavy because it has been going on since the start of the season. We hold out the microphone every time, he speaks with the heart and with the emotion,” tempered the new H\u00e9rault coach. “We're going to go back to healthy bases, with healthy people, and not people who are only there for their mouths,” said Laurent Nicollin at Dazn's microphone after the defeat of his team on the lawn of Angers last weekend (0-2). Jordan Ferri, in particular, had been particularly affected by the words of its president, cutting short an interview.<\/p>\n

“Prepare for the future”<\/h2>\n

Zoumana Camara is not hiding. The MHSC will not be able to maintain itself in Ligue 1 even if the case is not yet mathematically folded. The new Montpellier coach recalled that he was there to “prepare for the future”. “I made a speech to the players and I tried to temper this.
