While some people dreamed of a return from Gregg Popovich for this summer to the Spurs, unlikely that this is the case. The legendary coach finished in the hospital at the start of the week and has been better since. But doubts persist concerning him.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

While the Front Office is looking for ways to improve roster to the Spurs, to better help Victor Wembanyama in the future, it will also be necessary to decide concerning the future of the coach. Many hope the return of Gregg Popovich, but the coach's latest news is not really good today.<\/p>\n

After a “slight stroke” last November last November, Popovich has been resting quietly at home since. He spent a few months in his bed and was able to come back to meet the players and the staff this year. From there to consider a return to a bench? The coach wants it, but his health remains very complex at the moment.<\/p>\n

This Friday, TMZ has just taught us a disturbing news. The paramedics had to intervene this Tuesday at a restaurant after Popovoch suffered discomfort. He was transported in the wake to the hospital to carry out tests, but his life was not in danger according to the media. This is already a reassuring new.<\/p>\n

The coach was aware when he landed in the ambulance according to the authorities and Shams Charania gave news:<\/p>\n

@ShamsCharania<\/strong> : “The coach of the San Antonio Spurs Gregg Popovich had a medical incident this Tuesday at a restaurant and he is now at home, stable and he is doing well. \u00bb\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A reassuring new and a “slight alert” at first glance for the coach, still far from being given from his November problem.<\/p>\n

But that obviously raises questions about his future with the Spurs. Can we really consider a return to an NBA bench, with the stress of the matches, the trips and everything that goes with it? In the immediate future, this is not possible. And on San Antonio side, maybe no one wants to spend two seasons or more with an interim coach.<\/p>\n

Should Mitch Johnson remain in place immediately? Supporters are demanding research to start a real coach and turn the page. Because even if Popovich wants to come back, he may not have the choice on arrival.<\/p>\n

New alert for Gregg Popovich, which has already been better since Tuesday. It's a great thing, but a reminder that the coach is not awarded his accident last November. Spurs may have to decide this summer.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
