At Angleton High School, she posted a remarkable .607 career batting average, amassing 190 hits, 136 runs, and 72 extra-base hits. Her senior year was particularly stellar, hitting .706 with 48 hits, 20 doubles, six home runs, and 41 RBIs. Her prowess on the field earned her a spot on the 5A State Championship All-Tournament Team and recognition as the All-Southern Brazoria County Offensive Player of the Year.
