Five days from the end of the championship, the race for the Champions League is intensifying. If PSG seems out of reach, six teams can still hope to win the qualifying places for the C1 (Monaco, Marseille, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg and Nice). Overview on the respective calendar of each club.
While the final sprint of Ligue 1 is launched, the battle for European places promises to be breathless. Behind Paris Saint-Germain, largely in the lead, six clubs are still competing for the two other tickets for the next Champions League: Monaco, Marseille, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg and Nice. But not all go with the same weapons … nor the same calendar.
Monaco (2nd, 53 points): in a position of strength
Net Winner of Marseille last Saturday (3-0), AS Monaco struck a big blow in the podium race. This success allowed Adi Hütter's men to recover second place, confirming their solidity in key moments.
With a roded workforce and a positive dynamic, ASM is a favorite to keep its place. There remains a trapping calendar, with in particular two confrontations against Lyon and Lens at the end of the season.

Marseille (3rd, 52 points): worrying soft blow
A few weeks ago, OM seemed on the road to second place. But since then, the results have collapsed: five defeats in the last seven days. A negative spiral that cost dearly, despite an upcoming calendar that remains affordable.
With three receptions in the last five games, the men of Of Zerbi will have the opportunity to revive. But it will take a quick reaction to hope to find the Champions League, absent from the Vélodrome for three years.
The Marseille calendar:

- J32: Little-Om
- J33: Le Havre-Om

Lyon (4e, 51 Points): the Remontada En Marche
Relegated in the middle of the table during a good part of the season, OL found colors at the best time. Carried by a Rayan Cherki in shape, Lyon has won seven of his last nine games.
With a dense calendar and several direct confrontations, the Gones will have to confirm their revival of form to hope to reach the podium. Their route in the Europa League could also open a door to them to the C1.

Lille (5th, 50 points, +13): the calendar to believe it
Recently eliminated in the Champions League, the LOSC is now focusing on the top 3 race. And the Bruno Genesio team has a rather favorable calendar, with three opponents classified beyond 10th place.
Everything could be played against Marseille and Brest, two direct competitors. But on paper, Lille is well placed to do a great operation in this final sprint.

Strasbourg (6th, 50 points, +11): the surprise guest
This is the team that no one was waiting for. Strasbourg, under the leadership of Liam Rosenior, has been undefeated for nine days (7 victories, 2 draws) and continues to surprise. His youth and energy could allow him to invite himself on the podium.
The challenge will be size, with two delicate trips in Monaco and Paris in particular. But in this dynamic, everything seems possible for Racing.

Nice (7th, 48 points): watch out for the fall
Still well placed at the international break, Nice has marked the step in recent weeks. With two draws and three defeats over the last five days, the Aiglons have lost ground and must now react quickly.
Absent on the European scene this season, the OGC Nice must find the high level. But for that, you will have to fill up on points quickly.

Five days from the end, the ranking is tightened than ever. If Monaco seems to have one step ahead, everything remains open for qualifying places at the Champions League. The slightest misstep could cost dearly in this last straight line.
