Olympique de Marseille made a significant benefit from its career in the Europa League last season. Despite a disappointing season in the championship, the Marseille club reached the semi-finals of the competition before being eliminated by Atalanta Bergame, future winner of the tournament.

This route brought in the club an amount of 21,658 M€making him the sixth best paid team of this edition. L'UEFA Recently published the financial endowments of the Europa League for the 2023/2024 season, detailing the gains collected by each participating club. At the top of the list, the Bayer Leverkusenunhappy finalist against Atalanta, recorded the biggest earnings with 41,229 M€. The Italian team, crowned champion, perceived 33,938 M€.

Over 21M € for OM

Among the other French clubs engaged in competition, the Stade Rennais and the Toulouse FC stopped in dams. Rennes was still able to pocket 11,829 M€while Toulouse has recovered 11,145 M€.

If OM has failed to reach the final, this performance in the Europa League has, however, brought significant financial resources. A significant sum that could be a lever for the club in its quest for stability and future ambitions.
