Connor here. I’m thrilled to be writing this today on behalf of my incredible girlfriend, Caitlin Clark — one of the most talented and inspiring athletes in women’s basketball today. If you know Caitlin, you know she’s always been about more than just the game. Her passion, drive, and heart extend far beyond the court, touching countless lives. And today, we’re here to share some exciting news that’s truly a milestone for both of us.

But before I dive into that, I want to take a moment to talk about Caitlin — her journey, her spirit, and what this announcement really means

Caitlin Clark has become a household name in basketball, dazzling fans everywhere with her unbelievable skills, deep shooting range, lightning-quick court vision, and fearless leadership. Watching her play is like witnessing pure magic — the kind of talent and tenacity that only comes along once in a generation. But beyond the highlight reels and record-breaking performances, Caitlin is an incredible person — thoughtful, grounded, and deeply committed to making a difference.

She’s been my biggest inspiration, not just in sports but in life. Seeing her chase her dreams with relentless determination has been an honor and a privilege.

We’ve had an amazing journey together — supporting each other through highs and lows, celebrating victories, and growing together every day. I’ve been lucky to see the real Caitlin behind the spotlight — someone who cares deeply for her family, friends, and fans.

We’ve shared countless memories, from late-night talks about the future to quiet moments of reflection and joy. Being by her side as she’s achieved so much has been an incredible experience, and now, we’re ready to take the next big step forward.

So here it is: Caitlin and I are beyond excited to announce that we’re starting a new chapter together in our lives, both personally and professionally.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on something very special — a project that combines Caitlin’s passion for basketball, her commitment to empowering young athletes, and our shared vision to give back to the community.

We’re launching “Clark & McCaffery Basketball Academy” — a state-of-the-art training and mentorship program designed to nurture young basketball players across the country, helping them reach their fullest potential both on and off the court.

This isn’t just about basketball skills — it’s about life skills, confidence, leadership, and creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes who dream big.

For Caitlin, basketball has been a transformative force — a way to learn discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership. But it’s also been a journey filled with challenges and sacrifices. We want to make sure young players have the support and guidance they need to navigate those challenges while nurturing their talents and dreams.

The academy will offer:

• Elite-level training programs led by top coaches, including Caitlin herself
• Mentorship sessions focusing on mental health, education, and personal growth
• Scholarships for underserved youth who may not otherwise have access to quality training
• Community outreach initiatives to promote sports and wellness in local neighborhoods

Launching this academy is just the beginning. We have big plans to expand and evolve it into a nationwide movement, touching as many young athletes as possible.
