Mikel Arteta praised “one of the best evenings” of his career, while Arsenal eliminated the title holder, Real Madrid, in the Champions League.

Despite the heavy defeat and increasing pressure on his future, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti sent a warm message to Arteta after the match. “(Ancelotti was very affectionate) with me and told me that he hoped we would win. And he wished me good luck ”, he revealed.
With the dream of European glory now at hand, Arsenal hopes that his momentum – and the confidence that Artata has instilled in him – will lead him to the end.
