After a defeat (4-1) in the semi-finals against the Italian Frank Chamizo, the Frenchman went to seek third place by beating the Kazakh Daniyar Kaisanov, in front of his audience (4-3). This victory is synonymous with the first medal in senior world championships for the 25 -year -old wrestler. Friday, Khadjiev had validated his ticket for the Tokyo Olympic Games next summer thanks to his qualification for the semi-finals.
