Hangzhou police have confirmed the death of Aaron Boupendza, saying that they “ruled out any criminal track” after an investigation including interrogations and the video surveillance image exam. The Zhejiang FC published a statement saying “to cooperate fully with the authorities in the investigation” on the death of the player.
International Gabonese (35 selections, 8 goals), Boupendza, which only worn the jersey of the Bordeaux reserve team, has evolved in several other French clubs (Pau, Gazélec Ajaccio, Tours).
