Just before the start of the series against the Wolves, the Lakers announced an important news to the supporters, involving Rob Pelinka. But many fans are surprised, believing that GM does not deserve at all.
The Lakers are there to win the title and hope to start with a victory against the Wolves. It will not be simple given the opponent, but Luka Doncic and his partners are undoubtedly the favorites to access the next round. Beware, however, to Anthony Edwards, or to Rudy Gobert in the racket if the men of JJ Redick cannot stop him.
But before embarking on this big series, the Angelinos decided to announce an important thing: Rob Pelinka was extended. The news was announced by Shams Charania first, while the organization formalized the thing a few hours later on social networks. The GM will therefore go nowhere.
Extension among Lakers
No details on the contract, but the promise that Pelinka will be there over time:

Pelinka will therefore be in Los Angeles for a while, which may surprise. It was not far from a departure last summer and after a rain of bad choices, many other people would have lost their jobs for a long time. But the GM has managed some interesting moves this season, even if the exchange of Donic has changed the situation.
And yet, Pelinka is not really responsible for this exchange. It was Nico Harrison who contacted him to negotiate the deal and do most of the job. Many fans therefore do not understand the decision, especially given the liabilities of Pelinka.

Rob Pelinka is already extended to Lakers, which is not really a surprise. Luka's trade Donnteic has solidified his file and yet it cannot be said that his choices have always been unanimous.
