Ligue 1-Nice wins against Angers and still dream of C1 (2-1), Reims gives himself air against Toulouse (1-0), Lens frustre Brest (1-3)

Without Evann Guessand and Dante, the OGC Nice took time before cracking a serious and organized Angevin defense. Badredine Bouanani managed to find a specific center Pablo Rosario, who only had to apply on his head at close range to score his third goal of the season (36th). As soon as the locker room returns, Ali Abdi has shown realism to take the break for Nice. Found by a center of Jonathan Clauss, the French Riviera saw his plunging head bounce on the post but come back to his skull before finishing his way in the Angevin nets (47th).

While we thought the Aiglons sheltered, the pressing of Esteban Lepaul allowed Yassine Belkhdim to reduce the gap following a failed pass from Ndayishimiye (52nd). This valiant team of the SCO will not have deserved, but will have lacked breath and finish at the end of the game to really worry Nice. The latter carry out a good operation given their small form of the moment, which allows them to recover the sixth place. Angers will still have to fight to ensure its place in the elite, but this meeting can be encouraging for the group.

Given the tight positions of the two clubs in the standings, this meeting had to be the most disputed of the three, and did not disappoint us. The first period of this match was particularly lively, between the goal of Pierre Lees-Melou (13th), the equalization of Godduine Koyalipou (17th), and the penalty for Brest finally canceled (20th). The great turning point took place at the very end of this first act, with a fault by Abdoulaye Ndiaye who brought a penalty for Lens but also a red card for the Brest defender, widely disputed by the entire Breton group.

Transformed by Neil El-Aynaoui (45th+7), this penalty did not seem to discourage the Brestois. In the second half, the match remained balanced, even if much less animated. The Sang et Or had to wait for the very end of the match to take shelter thanks to Wesley Saïd who, on his first ball, made a sublime chain at the reception of a corner (90th+1). In the ranking, this result allows Will Still players to go back to their opponents of the day, while European places now seem unattainable.

Despite a series of four consecutive defeats in the championship, the Toulouse had moved to Auguste-Delaune with great ambitions. Dominators throughout the first half hour, the Haut-Garonnais encountered the now inevitable Yehvann Diouf. Captain Vincent Sierro notably passed very close to opening the scoring on a free kick (9th). But everything switched to the 27th minute, when Mark McKenzie made a fault on Aurélio Buta in the position of the last defender and therefore logically received a red card.

Even if Diouf must have grown up again on its line (32nd), the match definitively turned to the advantage of the Champenois a few minutes later. Following a remarkable work by Sergio Akieme on the left flank, Jordan Siebatcheu was found by his center and his head in Lobé Guillaume Restres (39th). In the second half, Téfecé players did not deserve by continuing to push, but without however obtaining real occasions. The opposite for the Stadium of Reims which almost doubled the putting twice thanks to Ito (62nd) and Nakamura (63rd). Reims confirms its good shape of the moment and can glimpse the light of maintenance. Maintaining still not ensured by the TFC which is not better.
