On April 18, Indiana fell to the No. 4-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, suffering a 4–0 defeat. However, the Hoosiers rebounded with a 5–2 victory over Penn State on April 20 in University Park, Pennsylvania, ending their regular season on a positive note.

Buckeyes Dominate in Columbus

Facing Ohio State at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center, the Hoosiers encountered a team that had already clinched its 19th consecutive Big Ten regular-season title. The Buckeyes showcased their dominance early, securing the doubles point with decisive wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.

In singles play, Ohio State continued their strong performance. The Buckeyes clinched the match by winning at the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles spots, each in straight sets, resulting in a 4–0 sweep. This victory marked Ohio State’s 28th consecutive win over Indiana, underscoring their long-standing dominance in the series.

Hoosiers Bounce Back Against Nittany Lions

Two days later, Indiana traveled to University Park to face Penn State. Determined to end the regular season on a high note, the Hoosiers displayed resilience and teamwork. They began by capturing the doubles point, setting a positive tone for the match.
