Rylee Holtorf – Shortstop (Graduate Transfer from Washington)
Holtorf brings a wealth of experience to the Gators, having been a first-team All-Pac-12 selection at Washington. In her previous season, she maintained a .336 batting average with 11 home runs and 37 RBIs. Her leadership and defensive prowess at shortstop are expected to fill the void left by departing players.
Kenleigh Cahalan – Infielder (Transfer from Alabama)
Cahalan, a junior, was a second-team All-SEC honoree at Alabama. She started all 126 games over the past two seasons, posting a .296 batting average with 30 RBIs. Her consistency and versatility in the infield add depth to the Gators’ roster.
Kara Hammock – Pitcher (Transfer from UNC Wilmington)

Makenna Bellaire – Catcher

Jocelyn Erickson – Catcher
Erickson had a stellar 2024 season, earning multiple accolades including SEC Player of the Year and NFCA National Player of the Year. She posted a .382 batting average with 15 home runs and 86 RBIs, showcasing both offensive power and defensive excellence.
Kendra Falby – Outfielder
Falby continues to be a key player for the Gators, known for her speed and consistency. In the previous season, she recorded a .361 batting average with 87 hits and 19 stolen bases.
Coaching Staff Updates
The Gators have also made strategic additions to their coaching staff. Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro, a former head coach at Memphis and an accomplished pitcher at Alabama, joins as an assistant coach. Her expertise is expected to enhance the development of Florida’s pitching staff.
