Quite crazy and unexpectedly, their trajectories were completely reversed on the fringes of the Deadline trade. Thus, while the Suns then kept themselves in the top 10 of the Western Conference, the Warriors struggled to hang on to it. The two teams almost closed a huge transfer to this period, before Golden State was finally satisfied with a simpler deal to recruit Jimmy Butler.
Long mentioned in the negotiations, the name of Kevin Durant was therefore excluded … but could very soon lead the market again. The echoes on it could indeed encourage the winger-star to leave Phoenix, in the same way as his non-participation in the Postseason, now acted. It remains to be seen whether a return to northern California, six years after his departure, could interest him.

According to the latest indiscretions offered by Brian Windhorst, the Suns could indeed resign yourself to separate from this summer. The Slim Reaper, it refused last February to return to the Warriors, but could be tempted in view of their beautiful current dynamics. As you can see, the package that dubs would be riding here would prove to be colossal.
Indeed, in addition to the loss of a long -standing frame such as Draymond Green, the bay franchise should let three important role players spin, but also a large number of draft choices. Number that most fans will certainly judge too high. However, the prospect of a duo overhaul during the few seasons they have might have to appease them.
On the Phoenix side, this agreement would prove to be beneficial in more than one way. Indeed, in addition to increased flexibility from a salary point of view, the Suns would finally set their hands on future Picks, they who have sold so much in recent years. The association of Green with Bradley Beal and Devin Booker could do them the greatest good, as their defense represents their biggest weak point this season.
An aborted on the sidelines of the last Trade Deadline, Kevin's return during the Warriors could finally take place this summer through the exchange above. Not sure, however, that Golden State leaders would be ready to sacrifice as many assets.
