Died on November 25, 2020, the legend of Argentinian football Diego Maradona had been the victim of a cardio-respiratory arrest. A disappearance whose exact circumstances are still vague and which have brought strong accusations towards the medical profession in charge of his care. While his son notably accused negligence doctors in this story, it is now the ex-wife of Diego Maradona (between 2005 and 2014), Veronica Ojeda, who had hard words.
Precent to the trial of the healthcare team, she accused the entourage of Diego Maradona and in particular Maximiliano Pomargo and Vanessa Morla two of her former assistants: “I knew they held him as kidnapped. He was afraid of everything. When I went, he said to me: 'Take me.'“Two days before the latter's death, she had met him and his words are edifying:”Where Diego was, there was a smell of pee and poop. That day, I told him to take a shower, to shave because it was not good for him to be like that. Diego felt bad, he was not in good condition.»
