Dimitri Payet is the subject of a complaint in Brazil. The former OM playmaker, who arrived at the Gama Vasco club in 2023, would have been the author of “physical, psychological and sexual violence” on a young woman claiming to have had a romantic relationship with him, according to a report consulted by AFP.
The complaint was recorded in a police station specializing in assistance to women. “The investigation is underway, under the seal of confidentiality,” simply commented on the Civil Police of Rio.

According to the police report, dated March 29, the complainant said she was “attacked by Dimitri Payet, which left marks on her body, and suffered from physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence”. Neither the player nor his club have expressed himself at the moment.
The complainant, a 28 -year -old young woman named Larissa Ferrari, told AFP to have known Dimitri Payet via Instagram last August, and that they then experienced a romantic relationship. Supporter of Vasco Da Gama, she resides in the State of the Parana (South), but says that she went to Rio several times to visit the footballer.

Larissa Ferrari, who is a lawyer by profession, also reports “physical violence” on the part of the player, saying that he happened to “push” her and “walk on it”. In another report to which AFP had access, she asked the police of the Parana “protective measures” to the “aggressive behavior” of the footballer, denouncing “veiled threats”.

The young woman says he is suffering from the limited (or “borderline”) personality disorder, which is characterized by hypersensitivity and emotional instability in interpersonal relationships. “I want justice to be done because he abused my psychological vulnerability to obtain sexual advantages,” she said to AFP.
“I am a lawyer, I would never have made such serious denunciations lightly,” concluded the complainant. Payet joined the Vasco Da Gama club in 2023, after leaving Olympique de Marseille. He came to Brazil without his wife and children.
