It's time of truth for Paris Basketball! After a long and exhilarating regular phase, started on October 4 by a short setback at home (77-80) against the red star of Belgrade, the capital's basketball club welcomes this Thursday evening (8:45 pm), in its Adidas Arena, which has become a fortified place, the Alba Berlin, dunce of the competition (only 5 victories but two outside), during the 34th and last day of the Euroligue.

We will know at the end of this last evening – whose matches will be stored on two days, Thursday April 10 and Friday April 11 – what is the final ranking of Parisians. We will especially know if they have achieved the feat of qualifying for the playoffs, a privilege reserved for the six best teams of the season, from their first season. Many scenarios are indeed still possible.

Despite their short setbacks (104-105) on the Real Madrid prosecution last week, Tiago Splitter players took advantage of the Milan's misstep on the Virtus Bologna prosecution (90-70) to validate their sesame for the play-in. A mini-championship between the classified teams from the 10th to 7th place that will be played next week and will offer the last two tickets for the quarter-finals. Being 10th or 9th will force them to play at least two games to qualify. Finishing in 7th place will give them the advantage of the field.

Currently 10th in the ranking equal points with the red star of Belgrade (9th) before the latter round (18 victories, 15 defeats), Paris Basketball can however see further, higher. He only has a small victory of delay on a peloton of teams classified between the 5th and 8th position. He can therefore still aim for a direct qualification for the quarter -finals.

If 5th place is out of reach, TJ Shorts partners can hang the 6th in a very favorable circumstances competition. To achieve this they must absolutely win against Berlin on Thursday and wait for the defeats of Bayern Munich (7th) against Fenerbahçe (2nd) on Thursday, from the Red Star to the Panathinaikos (3rd), Barcelona (8th) against Bologna (17th) and the Eves Istanbul (5th) before Kaunas (13th) Friday. All combined with a Real victory, against whom they do not have the AVERrage Point, on the Partizan prosecution on Thursday.

It will therefore be necessary to wait until Friday to know the verdicts. By then Paris will be keen to finish the regular phase with a success in front of its audience.
