Joel Embiid is now forfeited a moment after a new operation. And while the pivot wanted her for a long time, her team did not agree. What create some tensions in Pennyslvania.
The Sixers season is to be completely forgotten. Rather than playing the playoffs and having a chance for the title, as the front office wanted, the franchise is found at the bottom of the eastern conference, to hope to obtain a big choice at the next lottery. Suffice to say that supporters are very disappointed with the turn of events.
Many thought that Philly had weapons for the title, but it quickly turned out to be. Paul George has never managed to integrate this season, while the injuries have been there. Jared McCain, PG13, Tyrese Maxey and of course Joel Embiid: they all had problems in this campaign.
Joel Embiid and the Sixers in difficulty?
Losing is one thing, having internal tensions is another. And it turns out that Embiid did not have the best relationship with his leaders, he who had been looking for the operation for some time in order to heal his knee. But the Sixers had other plans obviously, as Shams Charania explains on ESPN.

Hope is now that Joel recovers his operation correctly and that he is able to bounce back and bring the Sixers back to the top of the Eastern Conference. But if the problems continue, just like injuries, then maybe his future will be in great danger. Possibly his last chance in Pennsylvania.
Joel Embiid wanted his operation and he succeeded, despite some reluctance among the Sixers. Bad omen for the future between the two parties? Certainly, with a 2025/26 season to follow very closely.
